Robin - I think a lot has to do with the situation you will be in . . . . when we went on our family vacation with my parents, brother, SIL, and nephews when LP was 4 months, there were more than enough people to hold LP, but there were 2 other kids there that needed attention too, so the Jumperoo that we brought was a lifesaver! We were also gone a full week, so no one was going to hold him and entertain him for that long, lol. Sounds like a family reunion weekend of that many people may be ok, though. Will you have the bulk of the family around all weekend or just one day? What about in the mornings when both you and irina will be getting ready - is he normally in his Exersaucer then at home? LP LOVED his Jumperoo - that's why we had no question about bringing it.
