My doc usually does this on most of his patients. Assuming we get embryos/blasts the md will take bx of the embryos and then freeze them. We wait 6wks to get the results and hopefully find out we have geneticallly great embryos before they even transfer them. Pretty much he does tons of tests before and after to make sure the embyros will take! It's kind of hard to explain the technical stuff but he was highly recommended by a md I work with in GA. My friend/md and his wife succeded on their 6th IVF w/ him and the odds were not in the favor! Check out Dr. Sher at haveababy.com if you care to find out more.
