You are so right about a family meaning more to you than a job - I feel the same way. This upcoming school year will be my sixth year of teaching - so I am also tenure. I am in Louisiana and will be teaching first grade next school year. I was teaching third and loved it. After my preterm labor last October and my pregnancy issues (incompentent cervix), my principal is making me move down because she is worried that I get pregnant again and get put on bedrest for much of the school year. She doesn't want me in a grade that has state testing. I was so mad when she told me but now I think it is a blessing. Since IVF in May did not work, I am doing it in Sept. and will be away from work a couple of days. She is not being as hard on me now because of my move down to first. The stress will be less also. At this point, I will do anything to have a family. Good luck tomorrow. I hope you get some questions answered. I have to go in tomorrow for another beta to make sure my hcg is declining so that I can begin treatment for IVF #4.
