Some don't do it unless there are known issues with ovulation or Leutal Phase. If you don't have those issues, you wouldn't really need the test. I have an LP issue where the period between my IUI or ovulation and AF is only 9 days. So we test it to make sure my levels are ok so we can correct it.
But that is the way they could tell if you ovulated for sure... The medical rule is that anything over 5 is considered ovulatory. But they like to see it higher if medicated. You will be fine. I know hard to relax... but I have finally given in to relaxing and not over thinking things. It has helped me to not be so stressed about the cycles. (On #6 right now) I am generally an over thinker and a worrier. My mom says I am obsesssed. I am. I am obsessed with infertility and photography. I can't help it... Ok, got way off o a tangent there... sorry!
