to all the new people!
I just got back from my first ultrasound...I'm 5 weeks 5 days today. It was so exciting because they saw the "fetal pole" which I guess is the baby...and we were able to see a heartbeat!
I couldn't believe it! They said that often you can't see it during the 5 week ultrasounds, but we did! It was 109 beats per minute which they said is right on track! I am so happy and so thankful! My next ultrasound is 7/22 when I will be about 7.5 weeks, so I am excited and nervous for that. They kept saying that it is still so early!
They did tell me I had some follicles in my ovaries that are shrinking down, so that if I feel any cramplike pain on the sides, that is what it is, so I am sure some of you are feeling that too! Good luck with everyone else's ultrasounds this week! I can't wait to hear about them!!
