Good morning ladies!

Jenn--Will you get genetic testing done too now that you are getting the D&C? Also, make sure you let them know ahead of time if you want to know the sex or not. A friend of mine had the nurse tell her and she didn't want to know. Good luck tomorrow. Get lots of drugs!

Theresa-- I know what you mean about having to balance between another kid and our loss. DH doesn't have another kid, but in DH's family my sis-in-law just had a baby so the family is so happy about the first grand kid and so sad about our loss. Four days after our first u/s where we found out the HB was slow and the baby probably wasn't going to make it, DH and I stood up as god parents for sis-in-law's baby's baptism. I haven't seen the photos yet, but I am sure I have a vacant look on my face in all of them.

As to hubbies, I have found that I am better off if I just tell DH what I want instead of waiting for him to figure it out. (I would wait forever!) But he's having a hard time too. He really does NOT want to do another IVF. So in addition to raising the money, I have to convince him too.

As to pain/discomfort, I am sorry that you ladies are going through the extra pain. I didn't really have any. Just bleeding/spotting for two weeks. I guess I "lucked" out on that.

Hope everyone has a good day today.
