I agree -- it's not a lot of work but there is a lot of research and decision making you have to do. It seems that you have things to do which you stress out about, in my case taking classes, getting the homework done, getting the required paperwork done, getting the portfolio done, then getting the house ready for the home study. But it's punctuated by a lot of waiting in between those things which can be nerve racking. You're right Sarah -- it's a lot like IF.

Basically, I like things to keep moving along, so the wait in between things is difficult for me and time seems to move so slowly during those periods. I just try and keep myself busy with other projects.

1st IVF August 2007 -- no embryos made it to ET.
2nd IVF January 2008 -- 4 embryos transferred BFN 1/30/08

May 2008 - Decided to look into adoption through the state. Started required parenting classes and getting portfolio together.

July 2008 - classes end July 1st. Then comes the homestudy

August 4th - Home study visit.
I finally finished our Portfolio check it out and give me your opinion
