thanks for the response. I'm sorry to hear things were delayed for you. I think waiting is one of the hardest parts of this whole process. I hope you get over your infection soon and you can move ahead with IVF.

We still haven't heard from the genetic counselor...kinda getting irritated to have to wait so long just to get scheduled. We'll call again if we don't hear something in the next week. I kind of feel like I know what they're going to tell us but I understand why they feel they need to do this. Also, I guess they're supposed to discuss some other health issues that dh could be more at risk for because of the Klinefelter's.

We'll have to keep in touch about how things go with TESE. While azoospermia itself is rare, Klinefelter's adds its own challenges so it's nice to find someone else going through the same thing. Best of luck to you and your dh.

8/20/2008: 2nd UR appt. -dx: Klinefelter's; Testosterone: 158; FSH: 44
9/22/2008: Genetic counseling
10/1/2008: Follow-up with UR
10/17/2008: B/W needed prior to IVF consult
1/5/2009: IVF Consult - u/s (24 antral follicles ); uterine sounding; and lots of info!!
1/8/2009: mTESE - no sperm found



Upcoming:

moving ahead to IUI w/DS
