mindi - the requirements are no different for married/singles. you cannot have criminal record, must have a separate room for the child ( currently i live in a studio type apartment) sadly the requirements are not that hard to meet. there is a desperate need for foster parents. i did read one childs description that preferred a single woman, no other children... just goes to show you that there is someone for everyone. foster parenting is just one of many things i am interested in, and beginning to explore. my area offers an orientation once a month, so i hope to attend the next one. looking at the pages of children was a bit sad though. so many infants w/ birth defects that obviously the parents just did not want or could not care for? at times i wonder if my true mother-calling is to care for the unwanted already in existence children of the world... but like i said, i am giving myself some time to see what presents itself and what direction i will go!
Ona - yeah to you! i do hope the timing works out perfectly! i was always confused about the surge on an opk, positive means that you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours? had you tested last night or earlier today so that you know the surge is recent? supposedly the frozen buddies do not live as long as the non frozen, but it sounds like the timing should work out on both ends!! GOOD LUCK and my fingers and toes are crossed! go spermies, go egg!!!
Terri - glad to know your dad is better. sadly staph infections are most often picked up in hospitals. i have no idea why, that is just something i have read.
