But I also am a little skeptical since I have ZERO of the risks factors and pretty much they are basing this on being .5 from the "normal" progesterne level and the fact that she couldn't find the 2mm sac. With that said she did move me to a differnt room just to make sure she couldn't see it with an alternate us machine and on the 2nd one she said the lining was clear and no black dot... So here is my story. Last May I got pg and my betas doubled every 2 days very nicely. My progesterone was low so I was given supplements. My betas started out low (15, 33, 76), but did double until we saw it at 355, then stopped checking. My progesterone was great at 23 now. 9 days later I started getting pain in one side. The RE did a u/s and did not see a sac. My beta should have been ~10,000. I was given methotrexate to terminate, but it didn't work. The next day my ectopic ruptured and I almost bled out. I was 6w6d when the ectopic ruptured.
My advice is to wait 2 days after that 1500 beta. Your beta level should be at 3000 and they should definitely see a sac. Sometimes betas don't go up enough the next day (it is kind of like a log scale, so full doubling can take 2 or more days).
I really hope this isn't an ectopic. I hope they see a sac tomorrow.
