What you are describing seems to be pretty normal, maybe to a higher degree than most, but still pretty normal. As long as the abdominal pain goes away when you lay down or change positions its just a pain and not a sign of something wrong. I was lucky and didnt get that much pain and discomfort until 7 months, but then it hit me like a ton of bricks. My main complaint is the abdominal pain or sharp little stabbing pains when moving, especially when turning over in bed and now I have carpal tunnel syndrome so that makes laying down difficult. But remeber you are not complaining, you are vocalizing your pains and issues, and when pregnant I dont think anyone is complaining we are carrying around this little person and there are bound to be problems with discomfort and we need to let people know how we are feeling.

I read before someone suggested going to the chiropractor and that has helped a lot, my friend did it and said it made all the difference in the world. But I went around 5 months for a pregnancy massage and it was wonderful! So I highly suggest that too!
