It depends on what state you live in or what state your insurance policy is based out of. I live in Illinois which has a law mandating all insurance plans out of Illinois to cover infertility I believe for companies over 50 employees. I was under my DH's insurance before, BCBS PPO, but it was based out of NY, so it did not cover it since that is where his company's main headquarters are. I switched to my insurance, Humana, which is based out of Chicago and it does cover it. The PPO and HMO both covered it. Yeah! I switched plans in January. Good luck!! I give all the couples credit who are paying for it out of pocket. We would have had to save for a long time before we could have paid for one cycle.

6/16- began Lupron
6/23- Lupron, Follistim, and Menopur
6/30 - cancelled cycle due to poor response
IVF #2
8/4 - begin bcp, doing acupuncture as well
8/23-take last bcp

8/28- began stim meds - Follistim and Menopur
9/7 - Officially changed to IUI due to poor response
9/8 - Follies grew! 4 mature follies today! Converted back to IVF.
9/11 - ER, 8 eggs!
9/12 - Fert. report - 6 fertilized
9/14 - ET - 2 embryos, 5 cell and 7 cell
9/24 - Beta - !
Around 12/15 start bcp for IVF #3
