My name is Stephanie, My story is a little different. I married my high school sweetheart, knowing that at age 16 he had to have both of his testicles removed. They were fibrotic and never developed into testies. I have had a regular cycle every 28-30 days since the age of 12. I am now thirty and my husband and I have been married for 8 years together for 13years. He is my one and only sexual partner. I was told by two OBGYN prior to marriage that it would be simple to purchase donor sperm and inseminate me by IUI. I took them at there word. I am now thirty and WANT to be pregnant. We have been trying for the past 9 months.
1st we had an HSG and everything looked great. We picked out a donor and Had an IUI with ultrasound for follicle timing with my regular OBGYN.
Then we did it a second time
Then we did a second HSG and again everything looked fine so we did a third IUI
.
My OBGYN then told me some women just can't get pregnant and referred me to an RE. My RE reviewed everything and suggested IUI with clomid and hcg trigger shot. OK. I am now on day 7 and getting ready for IUI number 3 with my RE. My 6th one all together.
I am hopeful and frustrated at the same time.
