Oh you just can't stop my cats. If they decide that the furniture is theirs, it is theirs...
So we went into an Amish store (beautiful wood stuff) and they didn't have floor samples, but a book of beautiful furniture. It is all made in Ohio. it is very expensive, but looks fantastically crafted and they all have conversions to day beds then full size beds. I am not sure how to find out about safety issues. Should I go with a known baby furniture maker, or one of these dudes that has a shop in the USA? Dh and I really want to get stuff made in N. America (in the Baby Bargains Book that Susan sent me the best ratings came from Canadian companies). I guess solid built is solid built.
BTW, what distance are the slats in the crib supposed to be?
Oh, and for names, apparently Zachary was our place holder name until we found something better (as DH informed me). He really likes Isaac and Nicholas. I 86'ed Nicholas and brought in Wyatt. So he likes both Isaac and Wyatt. All my others he shot down. I can't believe my kid almost has a name!
I ate some dippin' dots today and they were extremely cold and I burnt my tongue
