It's pretty easy to make the panels, but buying fabric can be crazy expensive. If your crib set has matching toddler bedding...buy a sheet! You can get those for around $15 and cut them in half. In the past I found some pretty thick Ralph Lauren sheets and TJMax and made valences...nobody had a clue and I paid $12 for an entire room . Make sure you check all those stores too (Marshall's, Ross, TJMAx)!

I'm looking forward to seeing what others have done for more ideas!
