Riss, My cycles have always been normal even when I do not ovulate. Metformin is suppose to help regulate menstral cycles and bring on cycles for women that do not have a period on thier own. I am trying to get my sister to go to the Dr to get metfomin. She has been diagnosed with PCOS and doesn't have periods at all. She is also isulin resistant.
