I think it is a wonderful gift.
DH and I are wanting to donate our frozen embryos to other couples when we have completed our family. We still have 16 embryos frozen.
We have also considered the fact that our children would have brothers and sisters out there that they did not know. However in CA they have an open embryo donation....when the couple who received them could contact the clinic which in turn would contact us if they wanted to, weather to find out more on medical history and or just to send us family photos.
