It took us 1 yr and 2 months and third try on clomid to get pregnant with her. We have been trying for 2 years now to get pregnant with our second child. We have done 5 IUI's and been on clomid and letrozole. I've also been using a ferility monitor which tells me I'm ovulating every month. We had to take a break for a couple of months due to large ovarian cyst caused by Clomid. Had to have surgery. The doctor tells me I'm perfectly healthy and my uterus and everything looks great.

I've been doing fairy well emotionally through all this even had a couple of friends that had babies recently but wasn't too depressed. Well, last week 2 of my friends got several of us together and announced they are both pregnant and due within days of each other(this will be their second). Both of them apparently have bad endometriosis and they talk about how hard it's been for them. They've only been trying for 6 months. Anyways, myself and another friend that was there are having difficulties getting pregnant and the other friend even miscarried about a month ago(after a frozen IVF cycle). I just feel it was a little insensitive the way it was done. I am definately happy for them but can't help feel so sad. This is the worst I've felt and it's hard for me to be around them.

Sorry for such a long post. I just needed to vent. Nobody understands what I'm going through. My DH tries. We're going to do a few more cycles on Letrozole and off we go to the RE.

Anyways, any suggestions on supplements or any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for letting me vent.

I would recommend that if you aren't seeing an RE then go see one. Like emilysmom said, don't wait anymore time on clomid. I used clomid with my DS about 4 years ago. It took 2 years to get him. The second time around I did get pregnant with clomid again but ended in miscarriage. I then was referred after 5 months of failed clomid. I ended up having to have a lap, 3 IUI's and 1 IVF, which I'm happy to say took on the first time. Don't wait around, be aggressive and assertive when it comes to your fertility.

As for those around us getting pregnant, it's the most difficult thing a woman with fertility issues has to endure, but that is what we do, we endure and move on and proceed with our lives the best we can. Those feelings are completely normal. Good luck to you.
