Foster-Adopt can be a dificult road, I won't lie to you.
We could have gone through LDS social services and done a straight adoption. But in our hearts we felt those children would already be placed in loving LDS families.
We wanted to help a child we felt truly needed us and be able to offer the gospel to them as well.
Our main goal or hope was to be lead to a child that was meant to be ours forever. In the end we were blessed with 4 forever children.
But every other child that came into our home we knew was meant to come to us(for that period of time).. and to touch our hearts forever as we also touched theirs and their families.
Fostering is like one big emotional roller coaster it can be a challenge but also a great blessing.
Fostering isn't for everyone. But if you feel called in that direction, like we were, than it's for a reason and I'd go for it.
