FET story

Name: Tarascope (Tara)
Age at conception: 36 (embryos were 4 years old/frozen - frozen when I was 32)
Diagnoses: tubal damage, PCOS - husband had motility issue so we had to use ICSI
Treatments you tried before IVF: none
How many fresh and frozen cycles before success:
2 (1 fresh, 1 frozen - got pregnant w/fresh, but miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks - got pregnant with this latest FET)
Protocol (meds taken): Estrogen, Progesterone (IM 1 cc each day then went up to 2 1/2 cc per day, progesterone suppositories)
Complimentary treatments: none
How many days bedrest (if any):2 full days but got up to eat, shower
How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 4 embryos that were 3-day - average to above-average quality (2 were 4-cell; 1 was 5-cell; and 1 6-cell)
Symptoms or issues during your successful 2WW: slight twinges in my stomach area and nausea from about a week post-transfer; blue veins in breasts; frequent urination; extremely tired
HPT before blood test?: no!!!!
Number of first beta: 75.2
Number of babies: 1
Current pregnancy status: 11 weeks, 2 days
Advice for those going through FET now: My advice is to choose the best clinic/doctor with the highest success rate for FETs. I traveled out of state to accomplish this and am glad I did.
I agree with another poster also about having faith and trusting in the Lord. He knows what's right for you! Best of luck to everyone trying to conceive! FETs are successful a lot of the time!
Babydust to everyone!
