Generally speaking, most domestic infant adoption agency prefer that one or both parents be under the age of 45 or 50. Some agencies and most attorneys don't have age requirements for adoption.
With international adoption it depends on the country you choose. Korea likes for both parents to be under 43, Russia states that the mother must be under the age of 48 (the father's age does not matter) and Ethiopia likes for both parents to be under the age of 50. Sometimes, age requirements are flexible if you open to special needs or older children.
