I had the same issue when we were starting our second homestudy. What our social worked wanted was a letter from my therapist stating that I had worked through the infertility issues, that I was capable of caring for a child from a psychological standpoint, etc. I had even been on anti-depressants and my social worker said it doesn't look bad because you were willing to seek treatment when there was a problem. All they wanted was reassurance that you had worked through the issue.

Don't put off getting the help that you need. Your future child will be grateful that you took good care of yourself in preparation to be his/her mommy! All of this is so stressful and so painful that I can't imagine how they could possibly expect people to NOT need some kind of counseling!
Good luck!
