PCOS or something else???
I recently asked my RE why my FSH would be so high. He did mention PCOS but I don't fit the "classic" symptoms or at least I thought I didn't. So, he agreed to run some more blood work after much persistence. I am a nurse so I don't give up easily. I was wondering if anyone could help me to interpret some of my results as fertility is not my medical specialty. Here are some of my test results:
Fasting Glucose 101 (slightly elevated but still norm)
Free Testosterone 73
DHEA 286
Fasting Insulin 7
Highest FSH 12
Period every 23 to 28 days lasting 2-3 days
BMI 31 and having a very difficult time taking off the weight
Lh:FSH ratio is 6.1:12
Could this be PCOS? I do not have the US image of PCOS ovaries and I do get my period.
