It's funny, I come home from the long journey of traveling to my center and log on here within minutes of getting home. I really enjoy chatting with you and appreciate your input and support.

Update on me. Had my bloodwork and ultrasound today (CD 14) looks like the 3 days is just what I needed because I'm ready to roll w/ our 1st IUI on Saturday. My uterine lining is at 9 and my one follicle has grown to 18.5. I trigger tomorrow night with Ovidrel and have an appointment Saturday at 9:30AM. I'm super excited and very nervous.

Quick question. How many vials of sperm are you and DH using? We elected to use just one this cycle because we've paid out of pocket for everything. My center says they typically do back-to-back IUI's and doing one isn't the norm for their center. My nurse asked why so and I told her because of paying out of pocket we wanted to see if one vial would do the trick. That makes me SUPER nervous! I'm curious to see what others have done with IUI's, particularly with donor IUI's.

Mabybaby1, have you started your cycle yet? Please keep posting. I will update as I can.
Hi Lisa-kev!

Yay!!!! You are all ready to go!! That is exciting news! There is nothing to be nervous about...exept for the dreaded 2 week wait!!! Will you HPT before your 2 weeks is up? I did on my IVF cycle and . I did like 3 tests and they were all the same, they were right though I started my meds yesterday and if estimated right, I should have my insemination on the 23rd! One week!! I am super excited! I just can't stop obsessing over the what if's! I really love your imput too! It's great to be able to relate to someone in the same situation! As for as the vials goes, I asked my DR and they said one is just as successful and 2. So we are doing one, and it can be costly! All together $675 I thinki for the sample and to be shipped! Did you say your clinic won't do IUI back to back (one month after another)? If it doesn't work I am going to push and try to get them to let me do it again next month, but they said the reason is because of the meds, they want your ovaries to go back down to normal. Who knows!!! Well keep me posted on everything!!! If I don't here from you, GOOD LUCK on Sat! I will for you!!! Lots of baby dust and !!!!
