Sweetpea -- Thanks for the good wishes. I will keep my fingers, legs, toes and everything crossed, because you are so right about the waiting. In a sense, we've been waiting all our lives for this, y'know? I want to start the process right now!!

You're lucky you get to do an FET. Seems like it is so much less intrusive/invasive. And I think I saw somewhere, while I was lurking around on a bunch of different threads, where someone said FETs have a slightly better chance than fresh cycles?? I dunno. I could be making that up.

Poptita - I am curious because this is all so new to me. You had so many eggs fertilized; how is it that you only ended up transferring one and only freezing 6? Were the others not of the best quality? I'm just wondering because my RE has already said that he thinks he'd only want to transfer one embaby (if we ever get to that point!) and I think he should do two, if we've got 'em. He also said he'd like it if we didn't end up with ANY to freeze, which made me confused. So that's why I'm wondering what your doc said.

P.S. I hate my stinkin' blood sugar issues. First, they prevent me from being able to eat all the wonderful foods I love the most (I'm a chocolate-fiend!) and now they could prevent me from having a little baby.

AND - I'm not even overweight! And no one in my family has these problems. It's just me!

OK -- thanks for letting me vent! :-)
