Hi Tippy! I think Femora is basically the same as Clomid. I did 1 round of Clomid but Dr. switched me to Femora..not sure why. Maybe my ovaries weren't responding to Clomid as well as Femora. Good luck to you this month as well! Keep me posted on how you make out!!!

Me: 34 irregular ovulation, right blocked tube
DH: 35 healthy...Pretty good sperm
Both of us never had children or been pregnant.

3/08-started trying natural way
1/09- 1st visit to specialist (bloodwork is fine)
1/09- HSG- possible blocked tube but Dr. thinks it was a spasm. ????
2/09- Started Clomid and HCG trigger shot
3/09-Switched to Femora and continued HCG shot monthly
5/09---still every month...AGGGHHHH! Dr. raised dosage of Femora to 5mg.
4 unsuccessful rounds of IUI- follies have all been on right ovary (the possible blocked tube)
10/09- seeing a fertility specialist- repeated HSG and confirmed right tube is completely blocked....GRRRRR!!!
