I have not been in your situation but wanted to say that I can definitly see where you are coming from. In the beginning they told us there was a good chance we'd lose one of our trio and while I knew that may be a good thing by making the others stronger, I had all sorts of thoughts of life after birth. I wondered all of the same things you have mentioned. I am truly sorry for your loss
