Yeah, at 5w they can't really see much, they just wanna confirm that the sac is forming and make sure your bean/beans is/are implanted in a good spot.
Next week you'll be able to see the yolk sac and h/b, but your bean(s) will still be tiny, so you can't make out much. But it's soooo reassuring to know that they're in there and doing well.
And all of this still feels so surreal. Even after 2 u/s's, all the betas, and the HPT. I'm still like, hey, I'm pregnant! It's so weird. Like, if someone asks me to go out and have a drink for their birthday, I'm like, "I'll join you, but I won't be drinking because I'm pregnant", and it still sounds foreign to me. I feel like this is a dream and I'm gonna wake up from it at any moment. lol
