I have heard that song a number of times and one time I heard it in the middle of the night while driving home from meeting out new niece and I was really focusing on the words, trying to stay awake and it hit me how much that song applies to our situations and it was really moving.

I agree for us it is about what's on the other side, but I do think "the climb" is changing us all ultimately for the better, so it is fitting. I've told my DH how much that song helps me feel stronger and he kind of thinks it's silly that I like a Miley Cyrus song, but I think he's glad it helps me keep on going.

I'm glad you posted this so I know I'm not the only one who gets misty-eyed over this song.
