Stress can play a major role as it can slow down ovulation or keep you from ovulating. Usually it's not the only factor in someone not getting pregnant, but it can factor in, especially if you already have something working against you fertility wise.

I'm sure it's hard to weigh your options since having a job and keeping it is very important, especially these days.

I have found I have to consciously remind myself to just relax. Sometimes relaxing music or exercise are things that I find have helped. You just have to find a way to decompress, but I know that can be hard. Good luck to you!
