My Dr also always said to me too that the first cycle is a learning process since I have never been on any hormone meds prior to my first ivf cycle. Hard to remember that part right now. My cycle went well other then the but still hoping that my Dr learned something from it that can be tweaked for next time. I was on a low dose of stims and I ended up being on stims for like 12-13 days. Initially I was only taking 150gonalf and the last few days it was increased to 185. What’s confusing is that I was told I had mature eggs and DH is also fine.
Bella-I am with you, I was on stims for like 12-13 days, didn’t think it was ever going to end! I hate the GonalF, my nurse had accidentally ordered me 300unit pens so were priming a pen every other night, it was sooo annoying! I would every time get all upset with DH that he is not doing right but I was way to nervous to do it myself.
For those of you who have done more then one IVF cycle, do you recommend taking a month off? Just looking for some feedback. And from the sound of it each cycle you produce different embryo quallity which is encouraging. My body feels ready to start another cycle thankfully other then a few lbs I didn’t notice any other symptoms from all the meds. Is here so I guess that’s good news. I just hope I don’t get any worse news tomorrow from my Dr….
