I just heard from my doctor and he stated that from what he could see on my ultrasound I am borderline PCOS so he will treat me as if I have PCOS (what ever that means???) He has prescribed Metformin that he wants me to take for 3 months and if I don't get pregnant after 3 months then he will put me on Clomid. He stated that I have follicles but they are not maturing on their own and that is why he wants me to take metformin. Can anyone help clarify this more....I want to be sure I understand what is going one
COMPLETELY!!!!!! I am not sure if this is good news or bad news. Are there any side effects to metformin??????
