mom2bntexas, I certainly don't know the exact semantics here...but when you mentioned your mom wanted your "biological child"...when I recently met with the psychologist (required by our IVF team), the psychologist said that using donor eggs made the child...while not my genetic child...it was my biological child because I carried the child and provided nourishment and life. Anyway, I found her words very comforting and enlightening....just a thought....
