Nature IUI-how do you know when the egg is there?
We tried 4 nature IUI based on our doctor recommendation. I am normal, my husband low count and low motility. My concern is that we do not know exactly when the egg is there.
My process is that, I used Clear Blue ovulation kit to test, if I see a surge, I will call the office to schedule an IUI the NEXT day. So the assumption is that we are guessing the egg will be there within 24 hours of the surge and the ovulation kit is accurate. I wonder why they don’t u/s to khow exactly when the egg is there to have an immediate IUI. What if the egg was there before that and die before IUI starts, or if the egg is released a lot later after IUI so the sperms can’t wait for it? How do we know for sure that when we do IUI, egg is there?
These questions are always in my mind. Anybody have nature IUI like me and has gone through the same process?
By the way, I did another nature IUI in July too and I have a feeling that it is not working.
