My husband and I have been married for almost (10/15/05) four years and have been trying to conceive for two and a half of those years. After one year of trying with no success we went to an RE who ran tests and determined that we were both perfectly fine and there is no reason we have not been able to conceive. After three rounds of IUI we took a break and went for a second opinion. He found a few "small" issues with both my husband and I but said they were not significant enough to prevent conception. After one round of a LOT of meds and an IUI we decided to stop and pursue what we have been talking about for well over a year...domestic infant adoption.
