Robin: I am so sorry you have to be in the azoospermia club but there are many of us here. If you haven't already checked it out there is an enormous thread about azoo in the male factor infertility section.

I know of one regular there who had several IUI's with DS before one took and some who got pregnant the first try. I believe the likelihood of getting pregnant with IUI is about the same as it is for those fertile norms out there in a given month if you are healthy (possibly less). I could be wrong so someone feel free to correct me.

I would recommend not counting on it working the first time 'round and be prepared to go for multiple cycles. Who knows, it could happen the first time and that would be awesome.

I hope to see you on the azoo thread, as you can see my DH is in the same boat. No cancer but there are several ladies on there whose DH's did have cancer and subsequent azoo.
