I recommend checking the price of an HSG Test with an independent radiology center. My doctor had scheduled my HSG Test with the hospital radiology department. I called to compare the "out of pocket" cost of the procedure (in the event my insurance company won't cover) with an independent radiology center and found them to be 1/2 the cost of the hospital. The hospital wanted to charge $568 plus additional charges for the interpretation of the test and drug charges. The independent radiology center's total charge for the test, including the "interpretation " was $230 to $260. I would definitely "shop around" before scheduling your test.
