Hi, I'm new to this forum. I was told by my doctor that she would not do any treatment other that the Metformin for my PCOS until I lost weight. I tried for a couple of years to no avail. She eventually sluffed me off on her physian's assistant and basically forgot my name. My husband and I then decided to pursue Russian adoption. Unfortunately, 2.5+ years later that hasn't worked out either. My DH now wants to go back to a new doctor I have found. We go on Wednesday. I don't hold out much hope since I am almost 40 (in July). I guess it is worth a try. Does anyone know a "fat friendly" doctor in the Atlanta area? Just in case this doctor says the same thing.
