Don't be nervous. Going to an RE is the best thing you can do for yourself, to get your "parts" back to working correctly. I will caution you, however, that if your doctor does not seem to be aggressively trying to figure out why your body isn't behaving normally, then switch doctors. Some RE's like to think that you're young, so there's no rush, or if you're overweight, you might run into doctors like I did, who don't want to help you get pregnant because they figure your genes are not worth passing along. But there are definitely doctors out there that are willing and able to help. Oh, and don't let them try to convince you that "the only thing that will work is IVF". By all means, if you have the money or good insurance to cover it, and you don't want to wait and see what's actually wrong, you can do that, but I wouldn't recommend it. The main reason I wouldn't is because the next baby you want to get pregnant with, you'll still have the same problem. And you still haven't "fixed" your body, which could cause more problems down the line.

Good luck!
