Like Julie, dh and I watch movies ALL THE TIME. We don't watch too many TV series except HBO and a few others like Supernatural and Medium.
So, I'm a move lover, too, which makes it hard to just pick a few. How about I go by genre cuz the only movies I don't usually care to watch are war movies and old classics (sorry, just hard to take the poor sound/audio, etc.).
comedy: School of Rock, Old School, 40 yr old Virgin, and the one with Jim Carrey, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carrell where Jim gets God's powers...
drama: 8 Below (definite tissue time as Mere pointed out), Walk the Line (love Johnny!), and I generally am afraid of "chick flicks" but have to admit Fried Green
Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias are really good films.
sci fi/other worlds: Star Wars original trilogy, Lord of the Rings trilogy,
horror: original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Interview with the Vampire (is that horror??), The Ring
action: Gladiator, all the Mad Max movies, Terminator movies, Predator
That's long enough.
