My husband also has a small varicocele, a low sperm count, and low testosterone,but his urologist placed him on medication (Arimadex). He felt him having ther surgery would not help...
His testosterone rose greatly, (from the Arimadex)but his sperm count only increase a little. They wanted to try him on Clomide to see if this would help, but not sure if this will help or not. We are actually in the process of switching Infertility MD's since it was taking like 2 1/2 -3 months just to see the Infertility MD for a follow up, so we are holding off until we see our new fertility MD. I can keep you posted on our progress.
