Well this is it gang! My last visit with you while this lump is controlling my thyroid. I will be going to the hospital first thing tomorrow morning. I'll only be in the hospital for 2 days. However full recovery is different for everyone so I don't know when I'll post again, they say I won't be able to move my head or neck at all for a few days and won't have full mobilty for 1 to 2 weeks so no driving etc..I am sure I won't be able to chat with you again until at least Saturday or Sunday. My mother is coming in from NJ to help DH hold down the fort for a few days but she can't stand computers, her rule is she won't come if I sit on the computer while she is here. Mom is a bit controlling, but she's Mom whatta ya gonna do? She is on her way as I type so that's why I probably won't get back on the computer again for a while.
I am terrified something will go wrong during or after surgery but I spoke to the nurse she said they've never had complications with this surgery so that made me feel a whole lot better. My DH took home that baby stuff his sister gave us and just seeing a porta crib and baby bouncer in my house made me so excited to know my life is about to be thyroid tumor/hyper thyroid disease free and therefore that much closer to being IF free! This is a major step for me to one day becoming BFP!!!
