Beta HCG is the the pregnancy hormone produced by the cells of the implanting embryo .Beta hCG levels should double approximately every 2 days for the first four weeks of pregnancy and by 6 to 7 weeks gestation beta hCG levels may take as long as 3 1/2 days to double . The levels will reach their peak in the 8 - 11 weeks of pregnancy (the third month) and then will decline and level off for the remainder of the pregnancy. These beta numbers indicate the amount of HCG in the mothers system.Hope this info answers your query.
