This is REALLY good and REALLY easy!!
Sopapilla Cheesecake
2 cans crescent rolls (Pillsbury recommended)
3 8oz. blocks of cream cheese, softened
2 cups of sugar, divided (save 1/4 cup for topping) ***NOTE** I only use about 1 1/2 cups of sugar total. I think it's too sweet with a whole 2 cups.
1 stick real butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinamon
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Roll one container of crescent rolls in bottom of pan. Mix cream cheese, vanilla and 1 3/4 cup sugar with beater until smooth. Spread over crescent rolls in pan. Top with other can of crescent rolls. Melt butter and pour over top of dessert. Mix cinamon and 1/4 cup sugar together and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden.
