Firstly Rachael, I am going to sneak over to the due dates group and check out your baby bump. I just love those pics...you girls will have to let us know when you do these so we can have a nosey. I'm a big lurker of your thread as you probably already know!

Shelly, Shawna, thank-you for all your wise words about trying again. I am going in for my day 8 ultrasound tomorrow and am still a little distanced from it all. There are days I actually forget I'm doing an IUI completely. I guess its my minds way of dealing with this...to keep it unemotional or something. I had thought about not trying at all this month, but DH really wanted us to keep going as neither of us (especially him!) is getting any younger. So I do have to respect his decision also, its both of us in this I guess. Plus, I also remembered I have you fantastic girls to help me through it so I know I can do this with all of you by my side.

Heidi, thats a tough one with the frozen embryos. I personally think I would thaw all of them as like you actually choosing to destroy them because I couldn't afford to keep them frozen would be hard to do. I'm not someone who believes they are actually babies though either...I'm more of an acorn/tree believer and I also think stem cell research etc is good and so if that choice were available I'd probably pick that one. However I also understand everyone has their own feelings and beliefs that need to be respected on this very grey area so its quite a personal choice. What does your DH think? Definately ask the other FET girls their views, it might help to narrow it down.

Jen, I LMAO about your catnip addicted cats. I've not tried that before, however I'm now thinking it might be a fun thing to give to my crazy moggie. He's nuts as it is...I'm wondering what he'll be like with catnip in him. Too funny! Oh, and I love the pic of you and your DH, I will try to update mine to another one we took of me. Its a bit cheesy really (it looks like I'm doing the pose thing...ugh) but I promised so I'll do it...just don't laugh! lol
