From experience I know that the best stuff for long-term pet odor removal is called zero odor. ZeroOdorStore.com

If you use whatever product to do the immediate clean up. I would follow it up with this stuff. It's the only stuff that REALLY gets the odor out. They have different bottles for dogs and cats, so make sure you get the right one.
