Being that the nickname Rainy was bestowed upon me and has become more frequently used than my real first name (which is nothing at all like Rainy btw), I can't say its a horrible name to live with. The worst its ever caused me was the confusion why I go by that when its not my legal name lol
However - having an entire weather forecast for children is a bit out there.
But a little more back on topic, I always have a difficult time picking names because I dont want anything too common or anything too ridiculous. Also I think people should shy away from really outrageous spellings of common names.
