sorry this is so long..but we've been BUSY!!!

We've been married for 9 years and 4 months now.

We were married 9/1998 and immediately began TTC
By 8/2000 we decided to start clomid with a fertility DR. as well as start the paperwork for fostering/adopting. But we moved out of state ...lost our insurance for a time and couldn't start fostering until we got settled in a home.

My husband joined the Air Force and by 12/2001 we had just settled in to our first duty station. We immediately started the process of becoming licensed to foster/adopt with our main hope/goal of being placed with a child available for adoption or coming available. Around 9/2002 we also began seeing a womans health nurse on base and using clomid each month and plotting temperatures.

By 4/2003 we had to be sent over to a fertiltiy Dr. for higher doses of clomid and u/s montioring. By 9/2003 we had exhausted all of our fertility options at that time that was covered by our insurance. Any further treatments would be sompletely out of our pocket and thousands of dollars. We were also completely devestated that in all that time of fostering none of our kids had come up for adoption (even those we were TOLD were going to be ours). We decided to move on to adopting through our church adoption agency.

But right as we began the paperwork we got the call about our oldest son (who was almost 4 at the time and legally free for adoption through DHS). We spoke with the LDS adoption people and decided to put our adoption plans on hold with them (for a newborn baby girl) until after we had finalized our sons adoption.

In 3/2004 we got our youngest daughter to foster as a newborn(placed for adoption at birth but was legal risk). The same week we finalized our sons adoption the adoption worker told us that they had chosen us to be the adoptive home of our little girl. but right before we went to finalize her adoption we also found out the little girl we had been fostering for 1 1/2 years was now coming up for adoption as well. So we finalized our youngest daughter adoption in 10/2004 and waited to finalize our oldest daughters adoption.

But before that could happen we got our youngest son to foster with his goal also most likely being adoption. We fostered our oldest daughters adoption in 5/2005. Our youngest son came up for adoption in 3/2006..but his birthmom appealed the termination of her rights and held up his adoption for a while. In 10/2006 his birthmom gave birth to another baby boy that we fostered for a couple months before being adopted by relatives.

It was at that time that we felt in our heart it was time to go back to TTC. So that's when we started seeing the fertility DR. Again and found out our insurance now covers the injectables...We tried letrozole....and 2 rounds of Follistim and got pregnant with our first child in 6/2007. Then 7/2007 we finalized our youngest sons adoption and a couple weeks later also suffered our first miscarriage.

Took 2 months off and then got pregnant again with our second pregnancy...and it ended in miscarriage again.

So that brings us to today. Just found out I might actually be ovulating on my own..so currently in the 2ww.

(We have been VERY busy and VERY blessed over these last couple years).

I couldn't imagine my life with out my 4 precious children...they are everything to me...ADOPTION can be such a blessing.

We came here 6 years ago as a couple longing for children and now ...we've fostered 57 kids...have 2 babies and 4 Beautiful children. God is GOOD!!
