When they told you about the study, did they tell you any more info on the new meds? Do you know if they have been used before? It's different slightly from what I am doing, but it looks like everything leading up to the IVF is the same. The only difference is that they are testing a ring for progesterone vs the crinone vaginal suppositories (which basically means no PIO shots!!!). As with any trial, you may get the ring or you may get the gel, you won't know until you get to that point which one you get. My personal opinion is that I'd rather be in this trial than the one I'm on! LOL! I'm in one that is testing a new long acting stimulation drug!! I figure, I'm helping others achieve their pregnancies too by participating and the fact that they are paying for practically everything is even more incentive!!

I hope this helps! I can attest that the clinic is BRAND NEW! They have been around for years and years but they just built a brand new facility with its own surgical unit. Everything there is state of the art and the doctors and staff are so sweet. Every nurse that I have encountered always has a smile on their face. I'll warn you, sometimes they run behind schedule and the wait times are long...but it's so worth it I think! Good luck! And if you need anything here let me know!
