Yes on the 13th Feb I made my first thread asking for success stories with acupuncture. Mine is not a complete success yet, but we are definitely on the right way.

Two years ago when we decided we wanted a baby we found out that my DH had slow and few coward sperms (less than 7 million) so we were sent directly to IVF-ISCI. Apparently it was only male factor and I was ok, but then it turned out that after two failed IVF-ISCI where we obtained very few (4) mature eggs my doctor told me that although I was young (31) my genetics were not good and thus although my follicles (15-17 in total, all over 18 mm) developed well and in good number after the extraction the result was very bad. He said he recommended donor eggs. I insisted on trying once more and started with acupuncture. One month and a half later
I had my extraction on Monday. I had 11 mature eggs!!
7 have fertilized. We are going to try to let them develop to blastocysts to see if we have more chance.
My doctor (whom I am not particularly fond off but which is the one my insurance pays for..) said he did not think acupuncture could do any good . I am happy to say he WAS WRONG.
I am now keeping my fingers crossed to see if I make it to the transfer, but still it has been definitely a great advance. I highly recommend it and hope to give you all good news in a couple of weeks.
